156 militants killed in JK this year

Srinagar: After security forces killed three Lashkar militants in a gunfight that broke out at Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar city last night, Jammu and Kashmir Police has so far killed 156 militants in different operations.

An official said that, “156 militants has been killed in different operations in JK so far.”

Earlier today, three militants and an ASI of police were killed in a gunfight in Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar district.

The gunfight broke out late last night after security forces launched a search operation to trace the militants who opened fire on a joint naka party of the police and CRPF in Pantha Chowk.
