Bird Flu: Director Animal Husbandry asks people to take precautionary measures

In view of the growing suspicion of bird flu across the Country, Director Animal Husbandry, Gh Ahmad Lone has appealed people to take precautionary measures.

Director Animal Husbandry, Dr Gh Ahmad Lone said urged people to avoid coming in touch with unhealthy birds.

He advised people while working with chicken products people must use mask on face and wear gloves in hands.

Meanwhile,  no case of bird flu has been detected in Jammu and Kashmir so far. However, the governments are taking all precautionary measures to deal with any possible outbreak
