Srinagar: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Vice President MC Watergam Baramulla, Meraj-Ud-Din Malla, was on Wednesday allegedly abducted by some unknown persons in the north Kashmir district.

Reports said that some unknown persons came Wednesday morning and kidnapped Mr. Malla from his home in Baramulla district.

A senior police officer said that Malla was whisked away by the ‘unknown persons’ in a vehicle while he was walking on a road to meet his friend.

In the last five days, at least two youth leaders of the Bhartiya Janta Party from north Kashmir have resigned from their posts.

Meanwhile, Security forces have launched searches to trace him.
