Civilian Injured in cross border shelling last week succumbs at Srinagar hospital

Srinagar: A 60-year-old man who was inured during cross border shelling last week succumbs to his injuries today at Srinagar hospital.

Official sources told Good Morning Kashmir that, a 60-year-old civilian identified as Mohd Yaqoob Mir, a resident of Kachadia village of Kupwara district was undergoing at Shere Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura, where he succumbed to his injuries today (Thursday) morning.

Last week, the Pakistan army reportedly resorted to ceasefire violation along the LoC in Kupwara by firing small arms and mortars, resulting in injuries to six civilians at separate places in which a civilian Mohammad Arif (4) was killed.

With this death the death toll in the incident reached to two.
