Coronavirus: 117 new cases, one more fatality recorded in J-K

Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday reported 117 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 42 from Jammu division and 75 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 123764. Also 01 COVID-19 death has been reported from Jammu Division.

Moreover, 104 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 39 from Jammu Division and 65 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of total 123764 positive cases, 1111 are Active Positive, 120729 have recovered and 1924 have died; 717 in Jammu division and 1207 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 4339419 test results available, 4215655 samples have been tested as negative till 21st January, 2021.

Till date 1053059 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 35027 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1111 in isolation and 73769 in home surveillance. Besides, 941228 persons have completed their surveillance period.
