Coronavirus: JK records one death, 182 new cases

Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday reported 182 new positive cases of deadly virus (COVID-19), 103 from Jammu division and 79 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 121653. Also 01 COVID-19 death has been reported from Jammu Division.

Moreover, 205 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 95 from Jammu Division and 110 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 121653 positive cases, 2975 are Active Positive, 116792 have recovered and 1886 have died; 699 in Jammu division and 1187 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 3916848 test results available, 3795195 samples have been tested as negative till 3nd January, 2021.

Till date 895270 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 14471 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 2975 in isolation and 30564 in home surveillance. Besides, 845374 persons have completed their surveillance period.
