Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday reported 1492 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 831 from Jammu division and 661 from Kashmir division, taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 62533.
Also 21 COVID-19 deaths have been reported; 14 from Jammu division and 07 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 960 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 322 from Jammu Division and 638 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 62533 positive cases, 21281 are Active Positive, 40265 have recovered and 987 have died; 223 in Jammu division and 764 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 1369702 test results available, 1307169 samples have been tested as negative till September 19, 2020.
Till date 542123 travelers and persons in contact with suspected cases have been enlisted for observation which included 29078 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 21281 in isolation and 66076 under home surveillance. Besides, 424701 persons have completed their surveillance period.
