Coronavirus : JK reports 257 new positive cases, four deaths

Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday reported 257 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 144 from Jammu division and 113 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 118263. Also 04 COVID-19 deaths have been reported; 03 from Jammu division and 01 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover,475 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 246 from Jammu Division and 229 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 118263 positive cases, 3854 are Active Positive, 112568 have recovered and 1841 have died; 675 in Jammu division and 1166 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 3528248 test results available, 3409985 samples have been tested as negative till December20, 2020.

Till date 847084 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 20989 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 3854 in isolation and 26581 in home surveillance. Besides, 793819 persons have completed their surveillance period.
