Coronavirus: JK reports 434 new positive cases, 11 deaths

Jammu and Kashmir on Friday reported 434 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 202 from Jammu division and 232 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 115207. Also 11 COVID-19 deaths have been reported; 07 from Jammu division and 04 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover,422 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 226 from Jammu Division and 196 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 115207 positive cases, 4849 are Active Positive, 108572 have recovered and 1786 have died; 641 in Jammu division and 1145 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 3294008 test results available, 3178801 samples have been tested as negative till December11, 2020.

Till date 822335 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 22620 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4849 in isolation and 27019 in home surveillance. Besides, 766061 persons have completed their surveillance period.
