Coronavirus: JK reports 454 new positive cases, eight deaths

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday reported 454 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 217 from Jammu division and 237 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 110678. Also 08 COVID-19 deaths have been reported; 05 from Jammu division and 03 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover,503 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 230 from Jammu Division and 273 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 110678 positive cases, 4908 are Active Positive, 104068 have recovered and 1702 have died; 595 in Jammu division and 1107 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 3037239 test results available, 2926561 samples have been tested as negative till December 01, 2020.

Till date 790770 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 20353 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 4908 in isolation and 33671 in home surveillance. Besides, 730136 persons have completed their surveillance period.
