Coronavirus: JK reports 60 new positive cases

Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday reported 60 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 13 from Jammu division and 47 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 125268. Also 01 COVID-19 deaths have been reported from Jammu Division.

Moreover, 77 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 09 from Jammu Division and 68 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona Virus (Covid-19), out of 125268 positive cases, 616 are Active Positive, 122703 have recovered and 1949 have died; 724 in Jammu division and 1225 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 4822635 test results available, 4697367 samples have been tested as negative till 13thFebruary, 2021.

Till date 1211946 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 33881 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 616 in isolation and 110420 in home surveillance. Besides, 1065080 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 26492 positive cases (including 27 cases reported today) with 217 Active Positive, 25816 recovered (including 21 cases recovered today), 459 deaths; Baramulla has 8156 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today) with 29 Active Positive, 7952 recovered (including 05 cases recovered today), 175 deaths; Budgam reported 7818 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today)with 38 active positive cases, 7662 recovered (including 06 cases recovered today), 118 deaths; Pulwama has 5783 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today)with 35 Active Positive, 5660 recovered (including 11 cases recovered today)and 88 deaths; Kupwara has 5671 positive cases (including 01 case reported today) 06 Active Positive, 5569 recoveries, 96 deaths; Anantnag district has 4952 positive cases (including 03 cases reported today) with 42 Active Positive, 4824 recovered (including 05 cases recovered today), 86 deaths; Bandipora has 4702 positive cases with 12 Active Positive and 4628 recoveries (including 07 cases recovered today), 62 deaths; Ganderbal has 4659 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today) with 46 Active Positive, 4566 recoveries (including 09 cases recovered today) and 47 deaths; Kulgam has 2709 positive cases (including 02 cases reported today)with 15 Active Positive, 2640 recoveries (including 04 cases recovered today) and 54 deaths while as Shopian has 2583 positive cases with 14 active positive cases, 2529 recoveries and 40 deaths.
