Coronavirus: JK reports 65 new positive cases, two deaths

Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday reported 65 new positive cases of novel Corona virus, 15 from Jammu division and 50 from Kashmir division, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 125117. Also 02 COVID-19 deaths have been reported from Kashmir Division.

Moreover, 40 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 06 from Jammu Division and 34 from Kashmir Division.

According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 125117 positive cases, 628 are Active Positive, 122542 have recovered and 1947 have died; 722 in Jammu division and 1225 in Kashmir division.

The Bulletin further said that out of 4776402 test results available, 4651285 samples have been tested as negative till 11thFebruary, 2021.

Till date 1198119 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 33797 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 628 in isolation and 105379 in home surveillance. Besides, 1056368 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Providing district-wise breakup, the Bulletin said that Srinagar has 26439 positive cases (including 20 cases reported today) with 224 Active Positive, 25756 recovered (including 10 cases recovered today), 459 deaths; Baramulla has 8142 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today)with 20 Active Positive, 7947 recovered (including 02 cases recovered today), 175 deaths; Budgam reported 7812 positive cases (including 04 cases reported today)with 42 active positive cases, 7652 recovered (including 04 cases recovered today), 118 deaths; Pulwama has 5773 positive cases (including 06 cases reported today)with 50 Active Positive, 5635 recovered (including 05 cases recovered today)and 88 deaths; Kupwara has 5668positive cases (including 01 case reported today)06 Active Positive, 5566 recoveries (including 03 cases recovered today), 96 deaths; Anantnag district has 4948 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today)with 52 Active Positive, 4810 recovered (including 03 cases recovered today), 86 deaths; Bandipora has 4701 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today)with18 Active Positive and 4621 recoveries, 62 deaths; Ganderbal has 4655 positive cases (including 05 cases reported today) with 54 Active Positive, 4554 recoveries (including 07 cases recovered today)and47 deaths; Kulgam has 2704 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today)with 18 Active Positive, 2632 recoveries and 54 deaths while as Shopian has 2580 positive cases (including 01 cases reported today)with16 active positive cases, 2524 recoveries and 40 deaths.
