Srinagar: A 36-year-old woman from central Kashmir’s Srinagar district who had tested COVID-19 positive and was also suffering from multiple underlying ailments died late Monday at SKIMS Soura.
The woman’s death has thus taken the overall COVID-19 toll in J&K to 144.
A resident of Nehru Park area of City, the woman was suffering from Hypertension and had a post renal transplant earlier, health officials said.
Health officials said the patient expired on Wednesday.
His death has taken the fatality count due to the disease to 144 in Jammu and Kashmir.
