ndia on Monday registered 3,52,991 fresh cases of COVID-19 and 2812 casualties, the highest single-day spike in terms of cases and deaths since the outbreak of the pandemic, according to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry.
The fresh addition took the total tally to 1,73,13,163 while the death toll soared to 1,95,123.

On Sunday, India had reported 3,49,691 fresh cases and 2767 casualties.
While as, a record 2381 people have tested positive for novel coronavirus and 21 persons succumbed to the virus in the Jammu and Kashmir as per the government’s latest daily figure for last 24 hours on Sunday.
