CRPF trooper shoots self dead in Srinagar

Srinagar: A CRPF trooper allegedly shoots himself with his service refile in Panthachowk area of Srinagar on Monday.

Police said that, the constable identified as Biswajit Dutta of CRPF 29-BT fired upon himself and died on the spot.

Dutta as per the police official was immediately rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

“Investigations are underway in this regard,” the official added.
