Movie marketing Guru Waseem Amrohi has touched another milestone. The founder of advertisement agency InKing Ideas has now won the DadaSaheb Phalke Award-2020 in Digital Marketing Category.
Waseem Amrohi is an in and out expert of digital marketing and advertising. The Movie Marketing Guru has been awarded for his contribution in the distribution and marketing of films like M S Dhoni, Padmawat, Sachin: A billion dreams etc. He also managed the marketing strategies of Logan, The Boss Baby, Baywatch, The greatest Showman, Kung Fu Panda-3 and many more.
Hailing from Amroha in Uttar Pradesh, Waseem has made a big name in the film industry. Earlier he headed the campaigns for the big Bollywood hits like Padman, Bajrangi Bhaijan, Toilet, a love story, Pink etc. Along with the movies, his firm has handled the marketing and digital media campaigns for the big brands like SBI, Hyundai, All About You, HRX and Titan. His glittering career includes association with 450 plus brands, 70 films and television channels like Zee Marathi, Zee Yuva, and BiTV. He was awarded the BBC National Marketing Award in 2017.
