Farooq, Omar denied permission to visit Ganderbal, Gulmarg

Former J&K chief ministers, Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah on Sunday said that the police “once again” prevented them from leaving their house.

Senior Abdullah was scheduled to visit Ganderbal, while as Junior Abdullah was scheduled to visit Gulmarg.

As duo father-dom were to leave their Fairview residence in Srinagar, the gates were locked, reports said.

Omar took to twitter and wrote; “This is the “naya/new J&K” after Aug 2019. We get locked up in our homes with no explanation. It’s bad enough they’ve locked my father (a sitting MP) & me in our home, they’ve locked my sister & her kids in their home as well.”
