Three bodies have been recovered and nearly 150 construction workers reported missing after a flash flood, reportedly caused by the splintering of a glacier, hit the site of the Rishi Ganga dam in Uttarakhand on Sunday.
More than 150 labourers working in a power project are missing, officials said.

Casualties are feared to be between 100 to 150. The teams of ITBP, SDRF and NDRF have already reached the spot. A red alert has been issued, says Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Om Prakash on the Chamoli incident.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister T.S. Rawat tweeted that the flow of the Alaknanda River ahead of Nandaprayag had stabilised. “The River is flowing one metre above the danger level but the flow is reducing,” he said.
