Srinagar: Rashtriya Kisan Mazdoor Mahasang Jammu Kashmir (RKMM-JK) on Sunday accused the central government of discriminating farmers, and said that these helpless souls have forgotten their role in the country because of no support and attention from government.
In a statement issued here, RKMM-JK President, Tanveer Ahmad Dar said that farmers across the country have been constantly facing the heat of economic destruction.
“Since a very long time the Indian farmers have been constantly trying to gain attention of the Government which turns out to be fail attempts because all we see in them ending up their own lives,” Dar said. Adding that farmers are the nation builders but unfortunately there own homes are getting destroyed.
Dar further said that, the farmers have lost all hopes in the government.
“Government should realise that farmers are backbone of country and their grievances should be addressed on priority bases,” President RKMM-JK added.
