Jammu and Kashmir government has asked all government employees to attend the main official 26 January functions in Jammu.
A circular issued by the government reads, “The main function of the Republic Day-2021 is being held at the Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu, where LG Sinha will preside over the function and take the salute. All Officers/Officials of the Government and Public Sector Undertakings, Stationed at Jammu, are called upon to attend the function as a part of their official duty.”

“Failure to attend the function will be construed as dereliction of duty and disobedience of the Government instructions,m” it reads.
