A gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Srigufwara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.
As per reports, the encounter was triggered after Police, Army’s RR and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in the area.

Sources said that two to three militants are believed to be trapped at the spot.
