Guns not the solution to Kashmir’s problems: Mehbooba

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Peoples Democratic Party President, Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday said that gun was not a solution to any problem.

While addressing party workers in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, former chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti said that,  Kashmiris should learn from the “peaceful” farmers’ protest to garner support.

“I appeal youths to not pick up the gun. It is no solution to any problem,” Mehbooba said.

Mehbooba claimed that the centre  government is currently focussed on breaking up the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
