Srinagar: The Meteorological Department has forecast moderate to heavy snowfall in both plains and upper reaches of J&K and Ladakh from Sunday.
The Meteorological Department said a WD would affect the UT from tomorrow and warned of heavy rains and snowfall.

“Under the influence of this system, moderate to heavy rain or snow is expected at widespread places of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh region,” said a MeT official.
The official said the weather system may lead to disruption of surface transportation on Sgr-Jmu NH and there would be significant fall in the day temperature and slight rise in night temperature.
