Husband shoots wife during heated argument in Bandipora

Srinagar: A 50-year-old woman was critically injured on Thursday after allegedly being shot at by her husband over some heated argument in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Gh Rasool Khan, a retaired army man shot Fatima Begum during a heated argument over some issue at Shokbaba village in Bandipora, an official said.

Fatima, suffered critical injuries in her head, and was immediately shifted to the district hospital, the official said.

A case has been registered and efforts are on to arrest the suspect, the official said.
