The armies of India and Pakistan again exchanged heavy artillery on the International Border (IB) at Hiranagar sector in Kathua district, officials said on Sunday.
Officials said that the Pakistani army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing mortars and other weapons.

He said that army gave a “befitting response” to the unprovoked ceasefire violation.
“However no loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far,” he said.
