ammu and Kashmir on Sunday reported 573 cases of Covid-19 infection. This is the highest number of fresh cases of Covid-19 in a day in Jammu and Kashmir this year. The Union Territory reported three deaths and 189 recoveries in the last 24 hours, officials said.
According to the official Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 133012 positive cases, 3955 are Active Positive, 127049 have recovered and 2008have died; 741 in Jammu division and 1267 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 6211099test results available, 6078087 samples have been tested as negative till 04thApril, 2021.
Till date 1540680 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 48489 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 3955 in isolation and 121219in home surveillance. Besides, 1365009 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Giving the district-wise break-up, the officials said Srinagar reported 208 cases, Baramulla 84, Budgam 41, Pulwama 10, Kupwara 16, Anantnag 17, Bandipora 18, Ganderbal 08, Kulgam 37, Shopian 12, Jammu 92, Udhampur 07, Rajouri 02, Kathua 11, Samba 04, Poonch 01 and Ramban 02. Kishtwar 00 and Doda recorded one Covid-19 infection
