The Jammu and Kashmir national highway remained closed for traffic since today morning due to fresh landslides in Ramban area.
“If the weather behaves, as it is doing right now, the road would be formally opened for traffic tomorrow,” said a traffic official.
Fresh landslides have occurred at Chanderkoot area of Ramban district today morning.

The men and machinery are working to clear the highway of landslides, he said.
As a result of closure of the highway, hundreds of passengers are stranded on the NH.
