haratiya Janta Party’s Kupwara Unit on Sunday held a daylong workers convention at Town Hall Kupwara aimed to impart party agenda to its workers.
The convention was held under the supervision of BJP’s North Kashmir in-charge Mohd Anwar. He was accompanied by District President Mohd Shafi and other senior leaders of the party.
Anwar said that as part of their national plan conventions are organized to impart education and training to its workers regarding different initiatives taken by the BJP govt and roadmap to strengthen the party’s base across Kashmir. “These training programs will be extended to panchayat level in coming days”
“We are provided with a task by the high command from time to time and we accordingly share the details with our workers and necessary steps are taken,” Anwar said.
When Anwar was asked whether social media sensation and self-claimed BJP leader’ Javid Qureshi is part of BJP he said, “If Javaid Qureshi would have been part of BJP he would have been here with us.”
He further added that if Qureshi wants to be part of the BJP he should join the party’s district unit and work through proper procedure in coordination with the District body.
On denying Javid Qureshi being part of the BJP, Good Morning Kashmir tried to reach Qureshi for comment but it could not be materialized.
