Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and National Conference (NC) vice-president, Omar Abdullah on Wednesday, said that the DDC poll verdict is loud and clear that scrapping Article 370 was not acceptable to people of Jammu and Kashmir

The former J-K chief minister said while addressing media said, “ BJP used its paid media to project that people are not with the National Conference any more.”

Omar said that DDC elections are not the success of NC, but it’s the victory of our ground level worker. Adding that the party didn’t publish posters and never went for campaigning.

Omar further said that the way BJP has tasted defeat in DDC polls, GoI will not announce Assembly elections early in J-K soon.
