he youth of Kashmir are enormous talented and genius, many youth have set a precedent and illuminate Kashmir in the entire Universe, by achieving top ranks in civil services and other competitive exams.
Khursheed Ali Qadri, hailing from North Kashmir’s Poshwani area of Pattan town, is a first Young man from division who had qualified IAS with 95th rank in 2013, he (Qadri) is currently posted as ADM of north eastern area Darjeeling in West Bengal.
Qadri did his schooling from Sainik school Manasbal and has done Masters degree in Botany from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.
Born in an educated family, Qadri, since childhood, dreamt of being a gazetted officer like his father Ali Mohammad Qadri. His father is a retired executive magistrate while his mother is a homemaker.
Earlier’ he had qualified JRF, NET, and had served the education department for some years’ as a Lecturer of Botany in GHSS Hardushoora, Kunzar.
In year 2011, Qadri qualified KAS. Then his third attempt, he cracked IAS with 95th rank, and was posted as SDO of CA&PD in Burdwan.
“When i was studying in New Delhi’ my classmates were preparing for Civil Services, i looked upon them, through which i got immensely inspired and my confidence level boosted, i kept in mind if they can crack Civil services why can’t me,” said Qadri.
“The Youth of Kashmir have vast capability and potential, if their talent and sense is routed in a right way, they will bring major change in overall development of the Society”, he said.
“The aspirants must update themselves with current affairs,” Adding that, don’t lose hope, efforts may fail but never fail to make efforts.” An average aspirant can attain his ambition, I am a symbol of it, he said.
According to Qadri, the Colleges and Universities should take initiative, for motivating and raising the potential of students, by organising the Comprehensive Counselling programs.
Qadri feels proud to be the first IAS officer from Pattan and asks more youth to inculcate the passion and desire of touching new heights of success in them.
