Kupwara admin orders partial relaxation from July 28

Srinagar: Ahead of Eid ul Adha, DM Kupwara, Anshul Garg today issued an order wherein certain relaxations with some conditions from July 28 to July 30.

As per the order, shops shall remain open from 7am to 4pm and the COVID test has been made mandatory for all shopkeepers and their staff for opening the shops.

There shall be complete restrictions on opening of shops from July 31 onwards except those selling dairy products and vegetables, however there shall be no restrictions on the movement of commercial vehicles carrying essential commodities and construction material for developmental works during this period, reads the order.

The concerned ADCs, SDMs and Tehsildars have been ordered to issue roasters for opening up to fifty percent shops in markets of their respective jurisdictions to avoid large gatherings.

Lead District Manager has been directed to ensure operation of bank branches as per roasters to avoid overcrowding besides all the Managers have been directed to ensure usage of masks and adherence to social distancing at ATMs and bank premises.

The order further reads that the restrictions shall remain in force till August 03 or unless modified earlier.
