Lakers Signed Shàareef O’Neal And Scotty Pippen Jr. In Two-Way Co*tracts

Shareef O’Neal and Scotty Pippen Jr. have both arrived two-way agreements with the Los Angeles Lakers. Both parties confirmed their contracts Thursday after leaving undrafted in the NBA Draft that same night.

O’Neal posted a throwback video of the rocking a Lakers jersey and thanking the association. “Thank you for this chance,” he wrote. The Lakers association retired his popular father’s jersey in 2013.As for Pippen Jr., he wrote, that the Dreams come true,” with a praying for hands emoji. “Let’s get to work.”O’Neal played college ball for the both UCLA and LSU and stands 6-foot-10. He disclosed before this week that his father preferred, he remain in school and avoid this year’s draft.

He needed me to remain in school,” he told. “He knows I’m working out with crews. Yet I’m not going to lie; we ain’t talked about this. I’m kind of just going through it.”

Pippen Jr. played for Vanderbilt for the final three years. He averaged 20.4 points per game in his last season with the college. During a squad exercise on Tuesday, Shareef disclosed that Shaq actually did not need his son to reach the draft.
