Department of Wildlife Protection, J&K in coordination with WCCB, JK Police and Forest Protection Force today carried out simultaneous coordinated search, arrest and seizures at Anantnag, Kashmir and Manwal, Jammu.
During the operations, the Department of Wildlife Protection seized significant quantities of leopard skin, other leopard body parts at both the locations and bear gallbladders, musk pods, at Anantnag, Kashmir.

As per an official statement, in both the cases the kingpins have been apprehended along with contraband material.
The Department of Wildlife Protection after due process has filed an offence report for filing FIR in the respective police stations, and has handed over the accused to the police authorities.
It was given out that further details are being investigated which will yield more information.
