A militant hideout was busted in Shirpora area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday, said a police spokesman.
He said the hideout was busted following a credible input in the Shirpora- Nafibal area of Baramulla. “On the basis of specific information about Baramulla police along with CRPF 53,176 BN launched CASO and during search operation one hideout was busted,” he said.

“02 UBGL Grenades, One Chinese Grenade, Some medicines, one blanket and some incriminating documents were recovered from the hideout,” he said.
A case FIR No. No. 53/ 20 US 4/5 has been registered at Police Station Chandoosa in this regard, said the spokesman. “Incriminating materials including ammunition have been seized by the police and taken into records for the purpose of further investigation.”
