Srinagar: Suspected militants on Monday attacked a joint party of government forces in Gangoo area south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, reports said.
The militants fired upon a joint ‘nakka’ party of CRPF and police at Gangoo in Pulwama district of south Kashmir today morning, in which a CRPF trooper received minor injuries, a police official said.

He said the security forces retaliated, forcing the militants to flee.
The area has been cordoned off and a search is going on, he added.
