Militants on Saturday hurled a grenade towards a police post in Sopore town of Baramulla district but there was no loss of life, the police said.

Militants hurled a grenade towards the police post near Bus Stand in the evening, a police official said. He said the grenade missed the intended target and exploded outside. There was no loss of life.
