Srinagar: Police on Saturday recovered a headless body from river Jhelum near Sumbal area of Bandipora district.
Reports said that the remains were also without legs and right-hand and some passerby first spotted it who subsequently alerted the police.
A police official said that, the body is decomposed and seems that it’s around a month old, adding that, the identity couldn’t be immediately ascertained due to the mutilation.
