Narco-militancy Case: NIA carries raids in Awantipora

Srinagar : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday raids at Khundiyan – Awantipora area of south Kashmir.

Official sources said that, the team carried the raids at residence of a man identified as Hilal Ahmad Wagay, who was arrested in April this year.

Earlier, the NIA claimed links between Mr. Wagay and Ranjit Singh, a notorious narco-militant, who was arrested from Sirsa area of Haryana in May this year. The NIA had registered a case in June last year and filed the first charge sheet against fifteen people, including Mr. Singh, and four companies, in December the same year.
