Srinagar: In a joint operation, the Indian Army and Kupwara Police on Sunday claimed to have busted a narco-terror module and arrested three persons in connection with the case.
“Kupwara Police and Army busted another module of NacroTerrorism by seizing 01 AK 56, 02 Pistols, 20 Grenades & 10 kg Narcotics. 03 individuals arrested. Case registered. Investigation going on,” tweeted Kashmir Police.

The teams seized approximately 10 kg of narcotics, besides arms and ammunition from their possession.
Earlier today, The Jammu and Kashmir Police had claimed that there was no presence of any Srinagar resident in militant ranks. The statement of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar came after killing of LeT militant Ishfaq Rashid Khan yesterday in a gunfight.
