The whole world now a days is in a state of social exclusion after the discovery of a new infectious form of the coronavirus in Britain. In view of the situation, few states in India have imposed a night curfew. Therefore, once again, these states will have to suffer huge losses, but as a precautionary measure, these drastic steps will have to be taken.
While the media gaze is on new virus strain, a lot of tragic events are happening in our hospitals, few are complaining of no attention while few are roaming without a face mask.
Though the novel coronavirus has mutated at a far slower pace than most other flu viruses, the new strain — referred to as VUI (variant under investigation) or B.1.1.7 lineage — is not the first mutant of the contagion. Earlier mutations do not seem to have increased the health risks posed by the novel coronavirus.
Masks can make a difference. But they only work to the extent that people wear them around others. When many people refuse to do it, out of selfishness, they give the virus a helping hand.
Covering faces is key to resuscitating the economy. If everyone wore a mask, businesses and their employees could be spared from the ravages of an extended slump.
If you don’t like wearing a mask, welcome to the Covid club, If you think it offers no health benefit, think again. If you’re mad at some people who insist that you cover your face in public, keep in mind that you can’t make them accountable if you’re dead.
You know, It is a sad year for the entire world. How can we be so irresponsible with the lives of other by coming out of homes without a face mask? All these are questions that stare us straight in the face.
Are we waiting for more such incidents to happen in future? or do we have the strength to take certain proactive steps to ensure that cases wouldn’t rise in future? We need answers to these questions at this critical point in our history.
