‘No resident of Srinagar district in militant ranks now,’ says IGP

Srinagar: Inspector General of Kashmir Zone Police, Vijaj Kumar on Sunday said that “no resident of Srinagar city is in terrorist ranks now”.

“After killing of LeT #terrorist Ishfaq Rashid Khan yesterday, no resident of Srinagar district in terrorist ranks now: IGP Kashmir,” tweeted Kashmir Police.

After Police’s tweet, a twitter user replied to Kashmir Polices’ tweet and wrote; ” But Vijay kumar said That guy From Bemina Has Joined Hizbul Mujahideen? Or mainay galat suna tha?”

To which the Kashmir Police replied back; ” IGP Kashmir told that he reportedly joined HM. Police hasn’t listed him in terrorist category yet as more verification required.”
