All the schools have been closed in Kashmir valley till further orders. With the spread of coronavirus with such rapid speed in the entire Jammu and Kashmir it is highly unlikely that the schools will open anytime soon. The world has been left at the mercy of the scientists working in labs across the world. The COVID-19 virus is the talk of the town and there seems no escaping from it. Italy with the world’s second best healthcare system is on its knees and the administrators of the country have left it to God and are making no bones about it.
It is time to act responsibly and even an iota of irresponsibility can wreak havoc with the health of the community. Some of the experts on Television are already predicting a doomsday scenario where millions may succumb to corona.
Amidst all this the community that suffers the most is student community. While some are lucky to have literate parents a vast majority does not have this luxury. Even if the parents are educated, they may not be educated in the relevant field. For example, a parent with Mass Communication degree cannot teach organic chemistry to his son or daughter. So a tiny minority where both mother and father have requisite academic qualifications end up having an upper hand over the majority of students.

The government cannot leave everything to the circumstances. The government can easily tie up with online tuitions platforms by paying a bulk amount to these online tuitions platforms. The education of students must not suffer at any cost. The establishment must take a proactive role in this regard. We hope the able administrators will do the needful at this hour of crisis.
