Jammu: Pakistani Rangers opened fire at border out posts (BoPs) and civilian areas along the International Border in Hiranagar sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, officials said on Wednesday.
BSF troops guarding the borderline, retaliated effectively, they said.

Officials said the Pakistani Rangers started the firing today morning and targeted BoPs and villages of Hiranagar sector.
They said the exchange of fire between the two sides continued till Wed afternoon but there was no report of any casualty or damage on the Indian side.
