Ensure smooth flow of traffic in Pattan
We, the residents of Baramulla, are facing immense hardships due to traffic jam on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway near Pattan town. Due to the absence of any traffic regulation, unending traffic congestion occurs daily that lasts for hours. Failure of the concerned authorities to ensure smooth flow of traffic has evoked strong resentment from the commuters and locals. Even the frequent unending traffic jams have drastically affected our lives and business. The worst affected are the government employees and students. Moreover, this highway leads towards Srinagar and the movement of patients and ambulances is badly affected. We request the concerned authorities and especially deputy commissioner, Baramulla to look into the matter and ensure a smooth flow of traffic.

We, the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (PMAY), of Town Baramulla want to bring to the kind notice of Deputy Commissioner Baramulla that we have completed the construction of our houses under the said scheme. However the 2nd installment of promised central subsidy was not credited in our accounts, despite the list has been verified by the authorized committee constituted by worthy Deputy Commissioner vide order no DCB/AO/PMAY-U/698-706 dated 16-03-2021. Although we the desperate beneficiaries continue to badger concerned authorities with queries about the release of funds, but unfortunately, no solution is being found to the issue. Endangering human lives
Mohalla Sheikh Moosa, Zaina Kadal lanes and bylanes need immediate attention of the concerned department as the dilapidated conditions have made life of commoners miserable.
Residents have time and again approached authorities for the resolution of bad conditions of these narrow lanes. Outflows from the houses mostly inundate the walking space and litter seen scattered everywhere.
The tiling done only recently is uprooted due to below quality material used by the authorities.
Electric poles mostly are about to fall and high power lines seem about to cave in endangering human lives. It seems the Mohalla has been forgotten and left to it’s miseries.
