For the fifth straight day, authorities in  Brah – Rajwad area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district failed to restore the road connecting the area with district headquarter.

According to locals, the local administration in Anantnag have not been able to restore this road in Brah Rajwad even after five days causing inconvenience to the general public, who travel kilometers by foot to reach other areas of the dfistrict.

They said that if admin is claiming that man and machinery have been put in place to restore all link and inner link roads in district then why even after five days our road is yet to cleared.

The residents said that the concerned AE is paying no heed to their area.

“No one from the authority came forward in last five days to clear snow from our road, we are in stress, there are no one to help. We can’t move outside our home to buy essential items as there is lot of snow”, said one of the resident.
