Newly appointed Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Muhammad Ejaz on Saturday issued strict orders regarding implementing SOP’s for fighting Covid-19.
DC Srinagar, made wearing masks in the public place mandatory, saying a fine of Rs 2000 will be recovered from the violators within the city limits.

“Anybody without mask driving or walking to be fined Rs 2000. And on the spot Covid test be conducted of the person without mask,” Muhammad Ejaz said.
DC Srinagar further said that people are found violating the norms by not adhering to the guidelines. Adding that the anyone found without face masks would be fined.
