Srinagar: Protests against derogatory remarks against Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), continued in various districts of Kashmir on Friday, with protesters demanding stringent action against the self-styled godman.
Anguished over the comments, the protesters in Soibugh area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district said, “disrespect shown by extremists, against Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has left Muslims across the world wounded, and strict action should be taken against the culprit.
Holding placards in hands, the protesters register their protest against the derogatory remarks on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by a Jammu based self styled godman.

“Culprit deserves harshest punishment for attempting to disrupt communal brotherhood,” said the protesters.
Meanwhile, peaceful protests were also recorded after friday prayers in other district headquarters of the valley .
