Rains lash Valley, more to come till Tuesday

Kashmir received rainfall on Monday even as the weatherman predicted moderate rainfall over the plains till next 24 hours.

The meteorological department (Met) had earlier predicted two wet spell across Jammu and Kashmir from 29t March to 23th of March.

Many parts of Kashmir valley received light rainfall on Monday. However, as per the official, there wasn’t any major rainfall recorded during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.

The meteorological department has forecast “fairly widespread light to moderate rain, snow or thunderstorm in Kashmir and Pirpanjal range of Jammu division” in next 24 hours.
