Scooty rider killed, two injured in Budgam road mishap

Budgam: A 20-year-old Scooty rider was killed while as two other sustained injuries in a road mishap in central Kashmir’s Budgam on Tuesday afternoon.

An Official told that a Scooty bearing registration number JK04D 5339 met with an accident and collided with shutter after rider lost control over it near boys higher secondary school Budgam.

Immediately after the incident, injured trio were rushed to SMHS hospital Srinagar for treatment but the Scooty rider idenfied as Arbaaz Rehman son of Abdul Reham of Arath Budgam succumbed on way to hospital.

The injured were identified as Nadeem Maqbool ,21, son of Mohd Maqbool and Ishfaq Majeed, 23, Son of Ab Majeed Rather both residents of Arath village in Budgam.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and set the further investigations into motion.
