It is the season of rains, even we aren’t witnessing normal rainfall for this part of the year. While the heavens open up since Tuesday, a lot of it gets accumulated on our roads leading to huge water pools on our roads. When fast vehicles pass by the residents walking on the footpath get a splash of it and recolors their attire.
Sometimes the water pools are so big that drivers think twice about navigating them. At many a places the cars gets jammed as water enters them making it impossible for them to move even an inch forward. At a lot of places in north Kashmir, people can be seen wading through waters to reach the other.
The so called posh areas here in city are no exception to this. Water reaches upto the waist and only the brave venture to cross it. People are complaining about waterlogging from various areas in north Kashmir, but to whom?

People are complaining from north Kashmir parts. Water logging is leading to serious traffic mess and many a times vehicles get caught up in such pools of water. We hope that the administration takes cognizance of the matter and does whatever is needed in the interests of people.
